It's not always Eurogamer, it's also Destructoid. They drink a lot of h8terade...I'm joking, people have a right to their opinion.
Are you all basing their ignorance off of scores?
Do you have a complete consensus or are you just relying on the opinions of the people who post on n4g?

So we'll have to spent 300 bucks for a gpu when that time comes if we want high end. well still have all of our games we'll still be able to do 100x more things then a console is able to. Well still be at higher resolutions and higher fps.
A new console for you will be 300-400 and you'll have zero games for it. Ok you'll have 1, the launch title"
You sound butthurt from my previous comment. But did I lie? ...
Fluffy delusions, lol, that's your opinion. God of War 3's graphics are inconsistent and everything is scripted. Uncharted's campaign will be ace no doubt, but it's online somewhat puts a blemish on the overall package, IMO. The multiplayer character models look uninspired when put up against Gears 3's online world, my opinion of course.
Thing is though, and I haven't seen it mentioned, Pc gamers will have to once again upgrade their computers when new consoles come out, especially the new Xbox. This is because MS writes the books on what and how programming and graphics technology will be utilized. Everyone wants to hate on MS, but everyone is lazy and waits for MS to write the API as usual. To take advantage of the new interface, you will be upgrading.
" 'open world' nature is pretty gimmicky"
If you're going to say this about one game, you got to say it about all.
"...yes you can go anywhere and do whatever you want, but the mission system makes it as linear as possible"
This is an unavoidable game design and if there is a game that has been able to do so please enlighten us.
"then an hour of frozen island escort missions (I thought NOBODY like...
Interesting. So to the people that rely on IGN scores, RAGE is the graphics king.
The best looking games run better on the 360. The proof is in the pudding. Risen? Lol...
Edit: if we're talking about consoles...
Gears 3 uses motion-blur skinning in place of the AA which is something the PS3 can't do...
Edit: Below, Apple was the only person to bring up Gears. People like myself just happen to like UC and Gears and will defend them if they're slighted. Apples comment shows that he/she is insecure if they have to bring up another game in an article about a different game.
Do I really need to tell you people what major franchises sell more on console? Really? Go google it...kids these days. I'm not here to spoon feed you, you're not worth my time.
Facts? I wrote my statement wearing my "captain obvious" hat, funny that I got disagrees. I mentioned Carmack to back up my statement concerning the bigger games are going to sell more on consoles. You can wear a "captain obvious" hat while reading comments also if you need to borrow it. But honestly, its not a big deal to me, my favorite devs have never shorted me in quality nor the platform I prefer to pla my games on.
Letros, you named three games, one of which looks like an iPhone game. Console development is the big leagues, meaning the games that are the true heavy hitters, are going to sell more on consoles. Just because some of you pc fanboys are mad at Carmack, doesn't mean he was wrong in what he said.
That's your opinion. In my opinion, Star Wars is stale and stagnant, stuck in what I perceive it to be a transition(?)...I don't even check for anything Star Wars.
You do apparently...
People actually believed the rumor? Lol...only on n4g.
Gears doesn't have an online pass it has a season pass, which is two very different things. Do some research before typing misinformation, there's enough of that already.
Dude, you're wasting your time trying to convince people on the Internet and you like the guy in your video, come off as salesmen, whoever he is. Out of all those people who've bought and used both of the headsets we're talking about ,plus probably more, I'm sure at least 2 of them are very versed in audio technology. Your video wasn't even a comparison, which is what I look for in reviews. Besides, they're playing a racing sim which I would have a hard time believing ...
On the one hand I look at it as a way to send a message to publishers that this type of model for gaming isn't all that agreeable. But on the other hand those points deducted could harm a great dev and games' metascore.
Wow, that looks slick, shame about the short-comings though. They shouldn't give up though, I'd definitely be interested in a 360 version also.
